We are sure that you have many questions and queries concerning your TOK essays and presentations and this blog gives you the space to engage with them alongside like-minded, thoughtful people.
Students also take part in a presentation, which can be done individually or in a group of up to three people.
I’m adding this post to “BEST” LISTS OF THE WEEK: THEORY OF KNOWLEDGE TEACHING RESOURCES.
Welcome to the TOK blog for students around the world.
Base on the Examiners’ feedback, and based on this year’s prompts themselves, we’ve prepared a one-page hand-out to assist students write their essay.
A screenshot of a portion of the page is on the top of this blog post. If you do, however, I just ask one thing in return – please give us your critical feedback on how we can make it better!
We meet individually with each Senior three times to review progress on their essay.
Before those meetings, however, we meet with them as a group to review the prompts and assist them with some prompt analysis (students can also count that meeting as one of their three required ones).
Further guidance on the TOK essay and presentation can be found in the IB’s Programme Resource Centre (PRC).
Materials in the PRC are only available to existing IB World Schools. There are a number of resources on TOK in the IB Store, which are available to everyone.
